our new chairs!!

I am so excited to debut our new director's chairs! I needed to get a high director's chair so I didn't break my back while doing makeup anymore. Stephanie's 25th birthday was coming up, so I decided to make ones for us as a surprise...Cindy at Dynamic Creation's did a fabulous job matching our colors & fonts on our business logo. I bought the chairs from Pier 1, they are $69 for the taller chair & $49 for the smaller chair. They are perfect & so much more comfortable for our clients!! I think one time I had a client sitting on my makeup case...it turns into an actual stool, but it's hard plastic...I assure you these are much more relaxing as well + it takes me less time to do makeup because I am not bending down anymore ;)

I absolutely LOVE these photos! I had the chance to finally meet Tarah this past Saturday, when I did her makeup for her wedding! She is just a gorgeous person inside & out, she looked like a Barbie!! LOL! Really, a real-life Barbie. I can't wait to get my hands on some more photos...so stay tuned ;)

I have said it once before, and I will say it again and again...the best part of doing makeup & hair, is meeting so many great people along the way. Heather, and her bridesmaid's were so much fun to be around! I traveled to her parents house in Clinton Twp. and did 6 girls makeup, it was so much fun!
Thanks heather, for such a great day...I had a blast!! Heather's photographer was Steve Kaufman out of Farmington Hills...I hope to get some pro pics soon to post ;)

our new logo!!

We wanted to create a new logo for our company, so we asked Kathleen from Plush Paper Creations to come up with some ideas. Kathleen's work is gorgeous, she has a great eye & is very creative!

I love what she did, it looks so elegant & sophisticated!! I knew I wanted to use a damask type print to start with, and the black, grey, and Betsey Johnson hot pink color! She also added the little hearts, which I was so excited about because I love hearts - and it goes with the "adore" theme. It turned out great, and we can't wait to get new business cards & a new website with our new logo on it!

Angie and her bridal party got ready at her parents house in Sterling Heights. We set up the hair & makeup areas in her kitchen & family room...it was so much fun meeting Angie's family & friends! I can't wait to see Angie's pro pics from Dionne at The Shooting Gallery! I didn't get a close up of Angie's, her sister Crystal's, and her mom's makeup. I will post as soon as we get them...I can't wait!
